| Answer: | Our ceramic chip caps are able to withstand pulse applications. If you have a single pulse application you can safely have an applied pulse that is 1.3 times the rated voltage. However, if you have multiple pulses we suggest that you derate the component by 50% or the rated voltage. This is true for all types of ceramic chip capacitors including the (NPO, X7R, Y5V and Z5U series) |
